    google spyware???

While using Google last night I picked up two spywares- Cnat, a
program and nrxbho.exe which I found in Windows. I sure as heck did
not install anything nor agree to anything either. They just installed
themselves . Pest Patrol picked it up and I deleted them. Has anyone
else seen these or suspect Google of using spyware?

Google doesn't seem to add any programs to one's computer. Likely as
not, you just used some M$ vulnerable-ware to pick it up from a site
you visited after Google located it for you. Any reason why you'd
    suspect Google itself?

I've visted all those sites repeatedly from Windows without any ad blockers
or other protection software running--and acquired no spyware or toolbars at
all (verified by Spybot and AdAware, as well as careful examination of the
computer). I do now use a pop-up blocker when surfing from Windows, though,
because the pop-ups are so damned annoying.

I've had to abort spyware downloads at least once a day from each of those
sites over the last 10 days or so. Appears to be related to whichever ad is
being served up at the minute rather than a specific page. Not sure the
sites themselves are necessarily even aware that their advertisers are doing
this - sure Yahoo would have fits.
