How do i get rid of this...

When i go into my computer, then to my local disc C:\ there is program
files and other things i have installed there. But there is another
program i did not install there. its name is something like this
719bcef15522383ecd45263e596baaa. I ahve no idea what the hell this is
and when i oepn it there are 2 subfolders called: sp1 and sp2 when i
try to open these i get an access is denied message. It also wont let
me delete it says error: make sure program is not running or is not
fully right protected or something.
Well i'd really like help getting rid of this please

I don't know what that file is but until someone more knowledgeable
comes along I'll guess it has something to do with MS Service Packs 1
and 2.

What is your operating system and did you install SP1 and SP2? I'm on
Win95 so I can't be much help there.

Right-click on the folder and/or the subfolders and select Properties.
Any useful information? Creation dates look familiar?

The usual advice in this NG is to run Ad-aware and Spybot Search &
Destroy to look for adware or spyware:

Have you run a virus scanner and trojan scanner?

I'm fairly sure it is just the left-overs from a windows update, I deleted it off mine and haven't had any problems
