Try a copy of NeoTrace 3.25(it is now McAfee), there are plenty of copies in p2p available

Some others gave advice how.
I did not know.
All I do is push a button and the software does the lookup.
Normally I go through telia to trace, this trace went from my machine.
whois originates in deutschland, trace via telia originates in france .

Who might be CAIDA.ORG and any reason he might be constantly trying to access?
Only happened after new software installed. Ad-Aware and my firewall don't pick up
anything nor does up to date virus scan and fw does not "see" the intrusions.
A port monitor showed it and every time I blocked a port CAIDA switched to another.
IP is blocked for specific IP's that are listed in whois and another IP that shows on the port monitor.
Different whois lookup shows CAIDA and SDSC, San Diego Supercomputer Center.
