The point is (if I understand correctly), that he wants to block flash
WITHOUT disabling flash.

This means one of two things:

1. In functioning you could get a sound when a flash animation is
blocked, but use a shortcut key to enable it momentarily. Otherwise
you'll be browsing with flash disabled and not know that you've missed
something you wanted to see.

2. Ability to turn off a flash animation, such as the annoying ads
that don't even have the right click (context menu) option to "STOP"
when they are running.
