    If you look at the figure and concentrate, you can actually see her start spinning in the opposite direction but what really counts is what your eyes (brain) saw the very first time you looked at it.....I saw counter-clockwise.

    Whichever arm of the figure is lifted, the same side leg is also becomes lifted (dominant) and that is the direction she is turning at.

    yeah but on my screen it's stationary, so there isn't much paralax or appendage masking going on, so I'm just looking at it and deciding if it's coming or going.. if "SHE" were going to take another step with the other leg in one direction or the other..
