    Don't see much there . . . .

    - It looks like you are running two different AV apps and this is not a good idea. They could conflict and result in poorer protection/performance.

-- How many different user accounts are on this machine?

-- You may wish to try my steps in this post: ATTENTION: Read Me Before Posting For Help!!

I did an online scan with trend, and nothing was found. Then I DL avast and AVG nothing there. The comp was very flakey So I just reformated windows.Today I used NOD32 and caught trojan horse Pakes.W on my storage drive. Now I just have to find out how to get rid of this thing on my E drive.

I did read the "READ ME BEFORE POSTING" post,And nothing.

BTW If the virius was on the C drive, wouldnt a fresh install of windows (deleting the partition and creating a new one) take care of anything wrong?

It should. But, with multiple partitions, I am always wary.

Personally, I keep a separate hard drive for storage. It's an external drive that I can take with me when/where necessary. That way, if there is a malware issue on a PC that I cannot solve, I can just flatten the drive and reformat.
