    Internet problem.

Hey, not entirely sure if this is to do with spyware but figured this would be the place to put it.
Basically I'm with virgin media for internet and everything was working okay until yesterday. I came home from work and the internet was working fine, I went for dinner, came back and the internet did not work, all I had was the computer provisioning option which I did but did not finish. The same was the case on 2 other laptops.
The internet goes through my set-top box so I turned this off for a few minutes, and hey-presto the internet was back up.
Everything works as it did however now some sites are not loading. Two that I notice are www.facebook.com and www.myspace.com. The latter of which I can half access if I access the site by going to search.myspace.com, which is just a page of the site, so it cannot be the site's problem.
As far as I know nothing has been done any different to the internet, and checking with other people who are with virgin media has shown their internet to be fine.
Overnight I ran Spybot S&D and AVG AV&AS. Nothing major just a few tracking cookies and nothing on AVG AV.
    Anything you can suggest?
    Cheers,
    Tom.

Give us some more info....operating system, anti-virus program, firewall, browser...Then,
Do all of the steps exactly as listed here READ ME Before Posting A Request For Assistance!
We need to see logs from at least Kaspersky online scanner...it will not fix anything but WILL produce a log for us to look at. We also need to see the log from AVG Anti-spy but be sure to tell it to FIX anything found and lastly we will need to see a HiJackThis log done AFTER you have completed the other steps.

Hi, okay I am running windows XP on this PC and 2 laptops upstairs. Both of these laptops allow access to the sites.
It also applies across three browsers as I have IE, Firefox and safari beta for windows.
I will run the tests again now and will post the logs when I'm back from work.
I think its probably somehow to do with the fact that those were the 2 sites I tried visiting when my internet wasn't working so instead of loading them it took me to the ntl provisioning site.
Ive run CCleaner and made sure all temp internet files have been deleted.
So yeah I shall check back later with my test results.

Well also the problem must lie with just the ONE computer so do the testing on only that one.
