well, it was me and a couple of my buddies who i have been haloing with for years, so we all had some skills, and we did co op, and we did it on easy. we just wanted to play through and figure out what was going on. we're gonna jump up to heroic next. so i'm sure solo, heroic, probably a 20-30 hour game. it appears to be very replayable, quite a few different ways to beat each level. and man some of the fights, are huge. there was one point where we walked outside and all the sudden had to fight 6 wraiths and 8 ghosts.

I didn't even know Halo3 was out already!!!

I only have the first one which I got like couple of months ago, it is old but still an OK game, I just couldn't stand the animated, child-like sounds that smoe of the aliens made. I wish it was a bit more like Unreal!

No spoilers allowed; I started the game on heroic this afternoon, got a couple hours in not gonna mess with the first or last dificulty level's. Going to Co-op with my nephews, I picked up two copies from K-Mart, no line, got two free posters as well from what I've been seeing, the stores have no short supply of them, it was all just HYPE and I'm glad that I stayed home for the midnight release hooplah as i'm not all that good with these games anyway.... the joystick controls just don't work right for a shooter, sensitivity and analog "accelloration" is wacked out, get into "driver" induced oscilation trying to get the cross hairs onto something.... horrible controls. If you don't try to actually aim at something, it's about the only way you can trick the computer into letting you aim at something... sorta reminds me of the "FAKE" server lag that was being added or hacked into UT2004 for people that could no longer enjoy their favorite sniping game.
