That is the joy of travel these days.

I was coming out of Norway the other day. the guy asked me a couple times if I had everything metal out of my pockets, if I had my belt off, etc. I finally looked him straight in the eye and told him I have done this more than he has, I know what im doing.
Yes, its a pain in the arse. No, they cant seem to get my backpack thru the xray once, they have to adjust it, back it up, try again, shoot another angle, then pull it off to the side to personally inspect it.

You should have looked them right in the eye and open a bottle of Absolute Vodka, start pouring some in the open can of coke while ranting "now I am mixing the activator for this explosive liquid" and then take a huge gulp before they slam you down and put the handcuffs on!

Here is the logic that is missing at the airport security (Homeland Security people can take hints from this crazy Turk): You see a middle Eastern getting on a plane, he seems to have powerful bodily odors, if you know what I mean yet you find a cologne bottle in this carry-on, that should definitely raise a red flag! You see a bald Arab or a woman with a covered head carrying a bottle of hair muse in their carry-on, that should raise a red flag, etc.

This is what the a-hole terrorists wanted, to ruine the Americans' freedom and comfortable, enjoyable way of life and they did succeed. This whole 9-11 reminds me of the movie called "Siege" with Denzel Washington Annette Bening and Bruce Willis.

Sadly, each year, inevitably, everything in this world is becoming worse.

well, we are all not too far away from having the entire transportation industry being labled as a device for mass destruction.... considering all the natural habitat destroyed by transportation infrastructure, all the lives "wildlife and indigenous pedestrians" that were either cut short, or augmented by lands that are no longer life supporting due to pavement, and increases in city sprawl made possible by the transportation infrastructure etc..... All the industrial polution.. All the natural circle of life being cut off with no alternative path to close the loop... well, if WE cut a section out of the hulahoop wide enough to fit around our fat a$$es... Well, then we can't play hoolahoop anymore.....
