    no, I wasn't an engineer when the three martini lunch was allowed.
    Best I get is the after work customer meetings that go thru a bottle of wine for each attendee, followed by an irish coffee and maybe a cognac or three.

    Dang Mathster, do you really drink that much everyday? If not how often do you drink? You can't be that old if you can handle the hangovers the next day at work!

    When I am traveling, its a couple drinks a day.

    there have been a couple times out with customers when it has been a bottle of wine per person, followed by the club afterwards.
    back from hiatus.

    Salesmen occationally drag and engineer out of their corner so the salemen has someone to answer the tough questions. besides, engineers make the salemen look more attractive.

    and in the case of the last two months, I have been out of town trying to cover the salesmans ass for selling and promising something htat hadn't been designed yet.
