    my new notebook!

    I've been looking for about 2-3 months now for a nice kickin laptop i can take with me when i go out on onsite calls for computer repair

    well i finally ordered it today

    paid $1,077.29 + 86.18 tax (free ship)
    i used a 30% off coupon (if you want it PM me it's good untill the 22)

    should be a nice unit i've played with the AMD model at best buy and i really like it

    so how you like being mobile?

    I dont think I will ever get another desktop. laptops are so much more convienent.

    it'[ hasn't comeyet i just placed the order today...

    and we'll see i found that on other notebook i didn't like it because they where slow..

    but now i need to get one so i went for a FAT model... we'll see =-D

    Congrats on the order!!! I personally will never buy HP again, but hopefully you have better luck than I did.

    I love my laptops, but I'll never get rid of my desktop. I can't get something as powerful and still have it as a "laptop."

    My notebook is for battery life, even though mine is very powerful, it'll still last 4 hours on a charge, but my desktop far outstrips it.

    yeah.. by the numbers that unit should be as fast as my desktop if not faster...

    but i kow it's not going to proform nearly as well

    it's for portability thats all =-D

    Im running a dell with a dual core processor, 2 gig ram, 512 mb video card, media bay battery and I usually dont get to my primary battery except on really long flights.
    back from hiatus.

    My media bay battery gives another 3 hours of use. the media bay battery is the one that gets drained first.
    back from hiatus.
