Time Warner Cable has just given us the Netgear Wireless Cable Modem Gateway CG814WG for our home wireless system. The reception is terrible more than 20 feet away or through the floor. I can't find any booster or range extender that seems to work with this. What we really need is a solution for a laptop in the basement. Any thoughts?
