    Making an Ubuntu Installation Disk

My laptop decided to make Windows explode or something, so I decided to give Ubuntu a shot.

I downloaded the .iso file (because I'm not paying for it, and I'm not waiting 6 to 10 weeks to get it in the mail), and I downloaded CDBurnerXP Pro 3.

I just need help putting 2 and 2 together. I'm not sure exactly how to set up the CD so that it starts Ubuntu installation at startup.

    Help?

(I'm willing to download another freeware CD burning program if you're more familiar with it. Don't be afraid to ask me to.)

Sorry, but you are asking how to use a pirated version of a pay for program and we don't offer advice on that on this forum.
because I'm not paying for it

    No, no, you misunderstand me.

There are three options for getting Ubuntu:

1.) There is an .iso file you can download from the website (http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu) if you are able to burn a CD.
2.) You can buy the CD from Amazon, etc. if you don't have the luxury of a CD burner and you don't have time to spare.
3.) You can request a free CD, but it takes 6 to 10 weeks to ship.

I don't want to pay for a CD that I could just burn, so I took option one and need help burning a CD to run at startup.

If you don't believe me, check the site yourself.

    It's all good. :] I understand.

Thank you for the links, though. I'll give 'em a shot.
