knight0334, thanks for your reply about the 75Hz vs 60Hz. What are the pros and cons of 60Hz? I didn't realize the pixel size was larger. How odd that they can't make it smaller and increase the sharpness. I haven't been able to find pixel size mentioned anywhere when researching LCD flatpanel monitors.

Gizmokid2005, it's an Acer X191XD , not widescreen. I am using the native resolution, which is 1280 x 1024.
