Installed Norton and Now Outlook wont work

Help, I installed Norton and now I can not receive email. Outlook works when email scan in Norton is turned off.

We need a whole lot more info...what version of Norton? Just Norton Anti-virus or the Norton Security Suite? What is your operating system? What anti-virus program did you previously have on the computer and was it totally UNINSTALLED, not just deleted or disabled?

This is a typical problem for email and Norton with Outlook. I work for an ISP, and for whatever reason, Norton just doesn't mesh well with a lot of Mail servers out there hence your not receiving mail. If you turn it off and it works, Norton is for sure the culprit.
