    Installed and running:
    AVG Anti Spyware
    Avast Anti Virus
    Zone Alarm
    Mozilla Firefox

    Spyware Blaster is installed and configured for full protection, but does not have an Icon in the tray. Is that operating correctly?

    EDIT: TweakUI did not restore my Icons

    Yes, SpywareBlaster actually DOES NOT run in the background, it is not supposed to run. It sits there and protects really. Just keep it updated.
    Everything else you have done is great. Are you able to set a new Restore Point?
    Let me get ~TL to drop back in here on the changed icon problem and see what he thinks. I am sure we can get this straight also.
    You might try this and see.....
    Right click on the desktop...going to properties...slecting appearance.... changing size of Icons to large

    Have checked with ~TL here are his suggestions since TweakUI didn't work;

    "alternative would be to use the latest version of RegSeeker but under 'Tweaks' section there is a 'rebuild icon cache' option that might help too.

    What I would do as the last resort is to delete all shortcuts and create new ones from the actual executables themselves and rename if necessary, that is the most sure-fire way imo."

    Keep us posted on this, we do want all up and running well.

    Superantispyware also runs in the background realtime and kills Vundo and other viruses. A big problem with the Vundo and/or Vundo Variant trojan is that the virus will delete all of your System Restore points, and then replace them with one infected restore point that causes the virus to reappear after cleaning/rebooting, even in Safe Mode. The solution is to remove the vundo files by first running a complete scan of your PC using superantispyware, then go to System Restore settings and clear/disable the restore feature, thus deleting the corrupted restore point, and then re-enable System Restore before rebooting.
