    Hi Bryan,
    This log looks much better.
Run a new scan with HiJackThis and post the log here. Think, hopefully anyway, we are on the last leg of this removal journey

    For safety reasons boot to Safe Mode;
Look for these two files noted in RED

    C:\WINDOWS\plite731.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\ljdsrngl.exe

If you find them, delete them. If you don't then don't be concerned.

Reboot to normal mode and run HJT again and place a checkmark next to the following entries if they still remain

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [plite731] C:\WINDOWS\plite731.exe
    O4 - Startup: TA_Start.lnk = C:\WINDOWS\system32\ljdsrngl.exe
    O20 - Winlogon Notify: hgdabby - hgdabby.dll (file missing)

Once you have placed the checkmarks then click the FIX button.
    Exit HJT.
Reboot and run a new HJT scan and post the new log

Ok I did as instructed; here is the log file:

PS a lot of my program Icons (Microosft Word, Excell, Autocad, Adobe Acrobat, etc) have turned to a windows default Icon (the programs work fine, it just seems the Icons were lost). Is there a way to restore them?

Your HiJackThis log looks good BUT where is your anti-virus program and your firewall? You most definitely need those....
Please go to this link PROTECT YOURSELF FROM MALWARE: Tools & Tips
Choose one of the free antivirus programs and free firewalls, download, install, update and enable them.
Also download and install SpywareBlaster you will find the link on that same thread. This is another MUST HAVE.

When did the icon problem begin? These can also be repaired. Using Internet Explorer

    Download TweakUI.

This has a Repair Icon option and you should be able to repair them with that.
Let me know if this works.

Have you tried your System Restore? See if you can disable it. If you can do so, then re-enable it to set a new clean restore point.

Afterwards, reboot in Normal mode and run AnalyzerXP to see if the files are gone or not.

Attach your new log file to your next post please.
I lost the Icons after this step.

I have AVG AntiSpyware 7.5 installed and enabled.
    more to follow

AVG Anti-spyware 7.5 is NOT an anti-virus program and it is NOT a firewall. It is exactly what it says, an anti-SPYware program.
I will get back with you ASAP on the missing icon problem.

    Installed and running:
    AVG Anti Spyware
    Avast Anti Virus
    Zone Alarm
    Mozilla Firefox

Spyware Blaster is installed and configured for full protection, but does not have an Icon in the tray. Is that operating correctly?

EDIT: TweakUI did not restore my Icons

Yes, SpywareBlaster actually DOES NOT run in the background, it is not supposed to run. It sits there and protects really. Just keep it updated.
Everything else you have done is great. Are you able to set a new Restore Point?
Let me get ~TL to drop back in here on the changed icon problem and see what he thinks. I am sure we can get this straight also.
You might try this and see.....
Right click on the desktop...going to properties...slecting appearance.... changing size of Icons to large
