I was searching for the Tazer Club thingy my co-worker mentioned.
He saw it at a car security show a little while back and he thought it would be something worth investing in if you didn't want your car getting stolen.

Due to the high voltage it dispensed and literally put an adult to sleep, it was illegal in CA but legal in AZ where the car theft is like 4-5 times worse! And I am driving a full size truck which is at the top of a car thief's list!!

Then there is this more civilized and more expensive new gadget that supposedly beeps (at the receiver end which you can attach to your keychain) when the car alarm goes off. So when you are at the mall or sleeping or surfing pron and the thing goes off and you are within minutes of your car, haul @ss!! If I catch anyone messing with my ride, he is a dead man.

I hear ya. I'm sick of people messing with my truck. Scratches on my truck have increased 10 fold...and it really pisses me off. But if I CATCH them messing with my truck, They won't have the capacity to do it again.

Don't get me started on the KEYers! If I could have catches them b@st@rds who key'ed my truck, I would make them swallow whatever it is that they used to do the damage. He'd find out what my 'loco' side looks like!

Yes, I believe it is isolated. It supposedly makes a very loud sound/siren to warn to thief first then 5 seconds later it arms itself with 50K Volts....you touch it and you will be taking a nap for a while! lol
IT goes on the steering wheel so I don't believe it would cause any problems but I can totally see myself forgetting to disarm it one day when I am in a huge rush and grab it like it is a regular club and zaappppp!!!
