And I feel stupid having to ask people to analyze my logs all the time. How do you (experts) learn anything from all this? I mean, is there some way I can learn how to tell (definitively) what's good and what's bad, besides just looking at what turns up red?

As a possible aside, I've been having popups (even from the IANAG page, which is why I noticed it first) and a scan reveals CasaleMedia + CPXInteractive, but I fixed both of those (through Spybot S&D).

This is the Realtek AC97 Audio - Event Monitor. "Slyware" file used surreptitiously monitor one's actions. It is not a sinister one, like remote control programs, but it is being used by Realtek to gather data about customers.

Both of those O22 entries are perfectly fine. They refer to theMicrosoft® Windows® Operating System Shell Browser UI Library

Yes, it IS a hassle, then you have to usually log into every site you visit everytime, like this one, rather than being able to "stay logged in"
You can block specific sites from putting cookies on the computer with Firefox;
Go up to Tools, Options, Privacy, Cookies, Exceptions.
Then you will have to type the EXACT address of the website whose cookie you wish to block...not just Burstnet or whatever it happens to be ...then click the Block button. Now this probably won't stop all of them for a particular site but it should cut back on them.
