Am I missing a reply here or something? You never mentioned anywhere that AVG found a LOP infection on the computer. Is this AVG Anti-spy or AVG Anti-virus?
Did AVG repair anything? Where are the requested logs?
We really need FULL info in order to help you best....symptoms, other steps and programs you have run...etc.
Also I noted that the first HJT scanner you used was way out of date.The version you used the next time was the beta version.Unless you are running windows Vista,it is advisable that you use version 1.99.1 for your scans.As for the rest ,follow what Judy is asking and saying and all should work out fine.
I am partly aware that the new version was out.I just thought it was aimed more towards Vista and that 1.99.1 would give you a better read of what might be going on.As for your missing the version,we all suffer from sometimers![]()
from time to time
.
Obviously we still will look at 1.99.1 but this new version can be used by all operating systems from Windows 98 thru Windows Vista.
Version 2.0.2 comes with the SAME warning as all other versions;
IMPORTANT: HijackThis does not determine what is good or bad. Do not make any changes to your computer settings unless you are an expert computer user.Sure you don't mean "old timers"....of course....as my friend said the other day, "My memory's not as sharp as it used to be. Also, my memory's not as sharp as it used to be."we all suffer from sometimers from time to time
