    I have a trojandownloader.generic2.ebc
How do you know this? I can find very little info for this trojan that you list. Where did you get this information? I am not saying you don't have this I just need to know where you got the info and what scans you used to obtain the info. Also, what programs are you disabling from Start Up using msconfig?
Did you run ALL the steps in this link? Was this HJT scan run in normal mode?

Was the HJT scan run in normal mode? Your running processes list seems very short to me.
Did you follow the steps in the link I gave? If not you should. What other symptoms does the computer exhibit?
    AVG anti-virus or AVG anti-spy?

Are you certain that it was this trojan? It is somewhat unusual for an anti-virus program to pick up a trojan.
What do you have disabled via msconfig? As I said, your running processess list looks a bit short to me.
Did you follow the steps in the link?

I never said I didn't believe you. I was trying to get information which you refused to supply.
Next place you go please give them more info than you have given us.

    Exclamation

    Jdaw,

Jholland is a dedicated helper here on IANAG and if she is making a comment or asking for certain info, then there is a darn good reason for it. More importantly please do not take our reactions or comments personal or get offended in anyway. Afterall this is a 'Free-for-All' online forum where everyone not just the mods and the admins try to provide help to those who asked for it.

With that said, you are asking for help so the last thing you want to do is to be rude by making a comment like

to those who are trying to help you.

We are quite mellow and easy-to-work with on IANAG. I am also a member on certain other online forums where your last comment could have gotten you really nasty feedback from the admins of the site or even get you banned as rudeness is not tolerated on any of the forums.

Again, I am assuming that you didn't mean to be rude so consider this as a 'heads-up', ok?
