You are welcome but alg.exe (Application Layer Gateway Service) is a Windows based non-critical service that provides support for 3rd party protocol plug-ins for Internet Connection Sharing and the Windows Firewall, so I am guessing you were playing this game online and the Windows Firewall might have been creating an issue for the game or one or more of the 3rd party plug-ins was bad....anyhow if it is working and you are fine the way it is, then no worries. If you are not using the Internet Connection Sharing or the Windows Firewall (but instead another 3rd party Firewall program) then you should be fine.Originally Posted by bubba64

three hours of troubleshooting brought me to try creating a new user profile w/same permissions as the administrator account. 1 week of play and the only error left is that the game occasionally crashes to desktop, but resumes after reopening the program from the task bar. Also, the game always gives me an error when the game is closed ' oblivion.exe has created an error and will be closed (blah blah)' send report, debug. Windows error report is useless, they've never seen this error before. But the game runs fine otherwise.
