I can't do anything with my computer as far as moving, copying, renaming, opening files from "my documents". The errors are "...access is denied..." What the hell is going on? Anyone?

This is your own personal PC right? Have you experienced any problems prior to the errors such as a malware infection or system crash?
What is the security settings of the My Documents folder show as authorized users? Can you copy/move files and folders in other parts of the system?
YES! This IS my own computer! I wouldn't dare fool around with such things if it were say Work's computer. That's plain stupid! My computer did have the sniffles for a while, and I couldn't figure it out. It seems that whenever I get a virus it simply slips by all my defenses. Firewall, Virus program, etc. There was no crash either. Security settings? on "my computer" folder? Where/How do I do that? Yes I can move files to from other locations. A little more detail into this matter, I selected all the files in "My Computer" that I wanted to move to the newly created "Psychology Class" folder. After selecting, all I did was drag-and-drop into the folder instead of using the menu item "Move Command". I've never had problems with drag and drop in the past so that's why I performed the action. Any thing else to help you understand what's going on?
Give us some more info on the computer itself. What operating system are you using? For instance, did the computer come with the current operating system installed or did you upgrade?
When you say "sniffles" EXACTLY what do you mean? Are you absolutely certain the computer had a virus and if so, what virus? How did you remove it? What symptoms did the computer exhibit? My computer did have the sniffles for a while, and I couldn't figure it out. It seems that whenever I get a virus it simply slips by all my defenses. To be completely honest here, a virus doesn't generally "slip by" usually, the door is opened...either via opening an email from an unknown sender or opening an email attachment containing a nasty item, file sharing, using a computer without all the current security updates, using multiple anti-virus programs and/or multiple firewalls at the same time on the same computer at the same time, using rogue security programs which are actually created to ALLOW the nasties onto the computer and bring along it's buddies.
What anti-virus program, firewall, security programs are you using? Now I say generally because there are those times, occasionally, when the user IS doing everything right and a nasty will slip in. But frankly, I honestly believe this is really very rare.
