Hi. Every day I do 70% of the things that are mentioned in in your link. I run Hijackthis from time to time to see if any service is there that I don't recognize, and that could be there but I cannot see if it could be involved with some programs that I've recently installed. My computer works fine with no known problems. The highlighted item was not on the list lets say three weeks ago. I've installed and removed some programs since then, and I just wanted to identify the highlited item. Can someone tell me what it is, or give any other advice? Thank you.jholland1964 wrote:
We usually require a bit more explanation as to why you are running HiJackThis in the first place. HiJackThis is NOT a clean up tool, it is a scanner tool used to determine if any malware exists on a system. It is not recommended unless a person is experiencing specific problems with a computer which have not been corrected by using the methods noted here
and then directed to do so and post a log.
