    Much Nicer on the eyes

I hate being into computers sometimes...you see a good deal...and ya just can't pass it up...

It's a VERY nice monitor! I love it already and I've only been using it for 2 hours. The screen space is ridiculous, and none of my games can run at it's native resolution....cause they don't go up that high...So I have a 1440x900 resolution screen, where my games can only run at 1280x900 or 1280x860.

Ahh, the beauty of finally having a little money....but the curse of not having TONS of self-control....sometimes...

Though of course, you have to give me credit....This monitor was $175 @ Newegg (after $15 off), and $155 @ TigerDirect. So I didn't have to pay for shipping and got it cheaper!

Nice find. Whats the native resolution?

I have a hard time giving up my 2 21" Dell Monitors. they are CRT and big as a truck, but quite clear for CRTs

OH yeah. It's PURTY. I'm half thinking about trying to persuade my boss to let me work from home LOL!! That won't happen...but it was worth the thought.

But back on track, this monitor...B-E-A-UTIFUL

In theory, im getting one of these monitors to go with my Latitude D820 at work. If corporate doesn't cancel our order.
Accounting has gotten on a spending spree, they ordered 7 laptops with monitors.

That would be nice! The DELL's have a very good anti-reflective coating, have alot of overhead lights at work? they won't glare off the screen... less eye strain, better contrast etc...

I have their 19" FP that includes the optiplex stand on the back. The xbox 360 hides behind the monitor on the optiplex stand gets good airflow too.. Cool thing about the DELL FP is that it includes VGA and DVI inputs, the (-) button switches between the two, got the computer hooked up to the DVI plug and the xbox hooked to the VGA plug... Slick little setup.

COOL, glad you got one. I remember egging you on about getting a flat panel a while back. You playing some NFS carbon through it yet?

Hey now, I've had my flat panel LCD for a while, it was just a Hyvision 17".

And yes I have, I've played both Most Wanted and Carbon. OMG it's BEAUTIFUL, and the BEST part is that my video card can still keep up
