The 2.4 GHz your program is showing is the cpu-throttling going on (I'm fairly sure of this). When ever the CPU goes idle even for a millisecond, the throttling will kick in and slow the processor down to conserve power and reduce heat. You have to turn the throttling OFF before your program will show the true speed of your CPU. Follow the instructions in the second part of my last post before running your AI suite. In other words, turn OFF AI before making any changes to the system (Then turn it back on) as it may be reading a cached output.
