    Hi

    I have executed the LinkOptimizer removal tool as suggested. log attached

    I DID run the scans suggested in item 8.
    Unfortunately, I was not very thorough on documentation here. Rather stupid!
    Actually, I only have a log from ewido - attached

    The problem has existed in a month or 2. As I see it, it started from one day to another. To my knowledge, no sw was installed around that time (but it IS a family PC :-)
    I have had he antivirus sw since I got the computer (approx ½ a year)

    Specs: Laptop, Intel M, 2 GHz (798 Mhz!!??) 1 GB RAM, 90 GB disk

    A fresh HJT log (only change: LinkOptimizer) attached
