    What is the EXACT wording of the Security Warning? What program is giving you this security warning or is it just a pop-up which claims to be a security warning? What does this warning look like?

    You really need to begin here READ ME Before Posting A Request For Assistance!

    Follow all the steps there first. Then run a NEW HiJackThis scan, save the log as a text file and post it here. We will go forward from there.

    A codec is a device or program capable of performing transformations on a data stream or signal.
    What I believe you are talking about is this entry here in your running processes;

    C:\Program Files\PCODEC\isamonitor.exe
    which indicates the Trojan.Zlob on the system.

    VirusBurst is a rogure anti-spyware program that is known to issue fake warnings on your computer in order to manipulate you into buying its full commercial version. The program is generally installed by a Trojan that automatically downloads and installs the program.

    Look in Add/Remove
    See if you see listings for;
    VirusBurst and for
    Media-Codec.
    If you do remove them both.

    Next follow the steps given on this link How to Remove VirusBurst

    This will involve the download and running of several additional programs so Please read the instructions very carefully, print them out if that will help.
    Once you have followed all the instructions EXACTLY as given on the link then run a new HJT scan and post it back here.
