I get a message that (windows could not load the installer for display. Contact your hardware vendor for assistance

I'm not too good at looking this stuff up could you send me an email with the shortcut to the solution to.....

    Thanks in advance.

Bill, I have removed your email address from your post. It is a bad idea to post your address openly like that. Too many spammers out there looking for something like that.
Can you give us more info on the computer itself...make, model, hard drive, memory...etc.
Are you certain this is the correct driver and/or correct graphics card?
When you purchased the computer did you also get all the disks which should have come with the computer when it was purchased new?
Also, HiJackThis is running from a temp file, it should be run from it's own file. The computer shows no active firewall or anti-virus program. Both of these items are a must.

could I use the disks from my lap top?
Unfortunately no, unless the graphics driver is the identical driver. This graphics controller is no longer manufactured or supported.
One thing you might try is to be certain the correct monitor is installed.
    To do this go to
Start > Control Panel > (switch to Classic View) Display > Settings > Advanced > Monitor Tab
The Monitor tab should say either "Plug and Play Monitor" in the "Monitor type" area or it should list the manufacturer and model number. If something else is shown, click the "Change..." or "Properties" button to select the correct monitor.

As far as the firewall...ok. But you still have no anti-virus program. ad-adware 2007 is not an anti-virus program it is a program to find and remove malware/spyware which are totally different things from viruses.
What all have you personally installed on the computer? Are you absolutely certain that this is the correct graphics controller? Did you check in Device Manager to be certain?
You might run a check on it with Belarc Advisor and see what it picks up. It is free and very easy to use. It will give you a good look at what all is on the computer

    Next step???

I downloaded the Belarc advisor and now have zone alarm and AVG (all free stuff) I noticed however that when in XP mode I can not do anything with the display but... when I'm in classic mode I can do everything as if I right clicked my desktop and went to properties. I do not know if that is significant or not.
The monitor and the graphics card are ok I think they are original to the tower set. Thanks once again
Here is what the advisor said although it's a bit beyond me.
