Need to clean out compaq junk

I have a compaq presario pentium 4 that runs sooo slow. I have run Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool, CCleaner, Spybot, Ad-Aware, Microsoft Windows Defender, and Hijack This. I am wondering if someone can tell me if there is anything wrong and also what all items I can remove from running at startup so I can get a little more speed out of this system.
This machine is used mostly for documents, and for online accounts.
Any help would be appreciated.

Honestly, don't see much of anything in the log that is bad, except I don't see a firewall.
Has the computer always been slow? Give me the specs please.
