I dont know about "paying" so much as meaning cash... But Ryan promised me all the "toys" they offered during any period that I did positive reviews.

And if I could get into my old AthlonOC.com email account, I could show you the email from him stating so. Thats when I stopped buying OCZ stuff, and I'll never give them a single dollar ever again. ....And that was back in 2001.

While I never had a "stake" in the storefront or retail side of things, I DID do reviews of the products, as well as a few HSFs, RAM, maybe a mobo or two(back in the early socket days), etc.

Though, myself and Kyle @ HardOCP DID have a very heated disagreement about OCZ Ram and it's true performance ratings, to where Steve admitted to "doctoring" my posts during the debate thread, to sway the argument more-so in Kyle's direction. That still kinda gets me.
