    w00tage!!

Well, for some of you less intuitive people (like myself) who haven't noticed....My signature was updated

    I upgraded from my Athlong 64 3700+ and went to an Opteron 165 Dual-core OC'd to 2.15GHz.

I couldn't wait any longer and for $100 w/ free shipping, I couldn't resist. This baby is a beaut.

    Oc'd temp @ 50% load (I can't get F@h to run at 100% now....) is 102*F. The room temp is 75*F so I don't think that's bad at all.

The 165 is dual core, which means you have 2 processors. You'll have to run a second instance of F@H for it to use 100% of the Opteron.

Yes, it's a beaut!! Now...I guess I'll have to start finagling my computer to run two instances of F@H....but after I move...

The best part of this, I can run my games (especially NFS: Carbon) and my CPU has 50% at least idle, which F@H runs it. It's very nice.

Well, I upped my voltage to 1.4v. Now I'm getting 2160MHz (not a huge increase), which is nice....I haven't taken the time to actually investigate a real increase....

I've gotten console F@H running and it's running like a beaut (save for a few minor technical difficulties).

But I thought I'd revive this thread instead of opening a new one.

Just gave in and purchased my second GB of RAM

    2GB Now :-D

You might also want to look into updating your CPUz version (current one is 1.40 if I am not mistaken). Which each version, the reading accuracy improves.
