I tried several times to get a zip file going to attach as a file and I couldn't figure it out.

I have some type of trojan on my computer and some other strange things going on. My wife suggested I first try to get help with the hijack log

At very quick glance, it looks like you have one of the more popular baddies that is making the rounds these days.

Also, you are running HijackThis improperly and unsafely. Please have a look at my linky here to remedy this: ATTENTION: Read Me Before Posting For Help!!

Then, please post a fresh HJT log - I imagine Judy will be along shortly to give you a more complete diagnosis!

What you have on your system is the Trojan.Zlob.Media-Codec.
Follow EACH and EVERY step in PhilliePhan's link from above. Follow them exactly...especially the RELOCATION of HiJackThis from a temp file to it's OWN, permanent location and also the download, instal and update of Ewido.

Follow PP's instructions from top to bottom, in order. Be sure to have all programs fix whatever they find, including Ewido. Be sure also to save the Ewido log because we will need to see that one for sure.

Complete the steps notes in Safe Mode, this is very important.
Once you have completed all the steps then reboot to normal mode and run HJT again. Place checkmarks next to the following, IF they remain;

Copy/Paste is fine. Probably won't attach because the file is so large. You have a HUGE number of items running...I have never seen so many McAfee entries in one log, ever. Just to be safe reboot to Safe Mode and go to
C:\WINDOWS\system32\
Look for this file oqabf.dll
If you find it, delete it, just the listing in red. It is not showing in your log anymore but for safety reasons only please check.
If it is not there then that is super. Reboot to Normal Mode and then go to My Computer. Right Click and choose Properties, System Restore. Place a checkmark in Turn Off System Restore. System Restore will turn off. Wait a few minutes and then do the reverse. This way you will set new, clean Restore Points on the computer.
