I have the Intel version (DG965) of the same motherboard you wish to buy with an E6600 Core 2 Duo (2.4GHz) processor. You can get the processor for about $220 or so; you could also go for a E6700 Core 2 Duo (2.6GHz) for around $300. Either of those chips will smoke the P4 chips you want to buy......
