hi,,my comp keeps crashing,I get a blue screen with -> a problem has been detected windows has been shut down to prevent damage to comp.AVFilter.sys....

Then it says Tech Info :Stop:0X00000050
(0XE3F9000,0X00000000,0XEF378EA8,0X00000001)
AVFilter.sys -> address EF378EA8 base at EF376000,
Datestamp 461c3d89.

I believe your system got hit by a nasty virtumundo-like malware so I am moving your thread to the related section for further help.
