I'll answer this riddle when I get to it.

ANSWER (nice hint acoustikarl): Don't cross a bridge before you get to it.

NEXT RIDDLE (This is one of my favorites, I'll explain tomorrow):

In class, the teacher gave a test to Jenn and Allison. Allison read the test, folded her arms and answered none of the questions on the test. Jenn carefully wrote out all the answers - good answers to the questions. The teacher collected the tests - Allison handed in a blank paper and Jenn handed in her work. Allison earned an A on the test and Jenn earned a D. Explain.

I remember doing a test in Grade school or Jr high. The first item was "Read everything on the test before answering any questions. The last item was "Do not answer any of the questions. Just put your name in the upper right corner".
Is that what this test is? The last question only says to turn in the blank paper?

Probably correct; Maybe one of those comprehension tests with instructions to read the whole test before answering any questions, last question= instructions to not answer any questions. Can you elaborate why Jen got a D instead of F?

That is a puzzler. You'd think it would be a pass/fail kind of test.

ANSWER (Congrats acoustikarl, cauzomb): At the top of the test, the first direction specifically read "Read the entire test before doing anything". The last question ont he test said to answer nothing on this test to earn an A.

(As for the fact that Jenn got a D, she at least read SOME directions )
