It seems Gizmo is caught up in work.
Here is something for y'all to cogitate on 'til he returns.

On me children can practice counting,
    while learning about life's ways.
    Goodness will take you up,
but be naughty and you're going down, down, down.

    No and no.

Here's a hint: The first to reach 100 wins the game.

    ANSWER: Chutes and Ladders

NEXT RIDDLE: Here's a toughy for ya.

A palindrome is a word that reads the same when spelled backwards (eg rotavator).
How could the following word be considered a palindrome?

Nope. You'll need to look beyond what you see for this one.

NEXT RIDDLE:It doesn't hurt to take a hard look at yourself from time to time. This little test should help you get started.

During a visit to a mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director what the criteria is that defines if a patient should be institutionalized.

"Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub. Then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup, and a bucket to the patient and ask the patient to empty the bathtub."

    Okay, here's your test:
    1. Would you use the spoon?
    2. Would you use the teacup?
    3. Would you use the bucket?

"Oh, I understand," said the visitor. "A normal person would choose the bucket, as it is larger than the spoon."
    What was the director's response?

any normal person would just pull the drain plug, but I'd use the bucket to take some of the water out and poor it out in the yard on the plants, and save the rest in a tank for later to conserve water..
