ANSWER (Congrats TL, Mathster, and Cauzomb): The hen will lay 2 eggs in 3 days.

CORRECTION: I said 3 eggs, it was Cauz, Maths and Acousti who said 2 eggs. I didn't understand the hen an a half in a literal way, I thought it was a fat chicken and you were saying hen and a half to be funny, that is why I said 3 eggs but in a literal way, the correct answer would be 2 eggs in 3 days so I was wrong...

ANSWER (Told you it was a good one): He said, "You will shoot me." If they shoot him, then he told the truth and should have been hung. If they hang him, he told a lie and should have been shot. With no other choice, they let him go

To explain, raise may mean to construct a building. Raze means to destroy a structure.

Then "shoot me" "hang me" one was a bit dumb, I mean till they actually have taken an action, it is not possible to tell if what the guy said was telling the truth or lie, after an action is taken, would it really matter?

Just seemed like a catch-22 before the actual aimed catch-22 has taken place!
