I thought that at first as well, but it looks like it takes one hen a day and a half to lay one egg. The other half-hen lays half an egg in that same day and a half. So the one hen would only lay 2 eggs in three days.

a hen and a half would lay 3 eggs in three days
one hen is 2/3 of a hen and a half
that would be 2/3 of three eggs.

sounds like two eggs to me...

or 4-1/2 eggs according to my wife.

Sounds like one hen lays two eggs in three days... but that's just not what happens in the chicken coop... [edit] wtf I tried to type 1 every 4-5 days, but it came out 4-5 in one day.

But I'm gonna say, WTF, what kinda animal is a HALF? and obviously it say's it only lays a HALF, so maybe it has live birth, like some snakes and sharks..... If that is the case, how many of the one half's, "one half's" siblings were consumed, while it was developing in the womb :P
