To make this easy, assume she turned 23 on December 31, 2000 (12/31/00).

We talked to her on 01/01/01. This year she turns 24 on 12/31/01. NEXT year is 2002...and at the end of next year (12/31/02) she will be 25...

    Simple as that...
So the next year by 01/01/02, she is still 24 right? Not the next 23 months, since a year cover 12 months the last time I checked so she would still be 24 not 25, who is the idiot now?

Nobody specified a year as being a time frame, but more as a reference of time.

    And to answer your question...YOU.

Nailed you right there, if a year is not a time frame, she would be 25 when the conversation took place, after all it is only a reference to time, right? That is no riddle, just a stupid word game! And depending on how you look at it, both assumption will be correct.....can't win blondie so give up!

The answer to your last riddle will be 'Gizmo' if you keep calling me the 'I' word.

ooooOOOOo. Someone's getting a little feisty.

Get over it TL. I wasn't saying that whenever you hear year it's only a reference to time, I was stating that in that context it was only a reference
