i dont care what the expected riddle answer is.... however I am right.. there are NO people in an empty room, hell theres not even an apple in an empty room. ..if there was, it wouldn't be empty anymore.

Oh crap, I didn't notice the everyone but that person can see it part so yeah I have to go with what Mathster said! I thought everyone was supposed to see the apple.

And Knight, no the riddle implied that the room would be empty if it was not for those 20 people, meaning there is nothing else in the room but those 20 losers, kinda like the 4 losers in this room/thread!

There are 20 people in an empty, square room. Each person has full sight of the entire room and everyone in it without turning his head or body, or moving in any way other than the eyes. Where can you place an apple so that all but one person can see it?
