This was way too easy, hence Star even got it!!!

But in case there is a 'Giz' angle on it, I am going with the 'R' rated answer: 'M@sturb@tion'.

    NEXT RIDDLE:

I'm as small as an ant, as big as a whale.
I'll approach like a breeze, but can come like a gale.
By some I get hit, but all have shown fear.
I'll dance to the music, though I can't hear.
Of names I have many, of names I have one.
I'm as slow as a snail, but from me you can't run.

ANSWER (No winners): Her birthday is December 31, and the date of conversation is January 1.

Sorry, leap year is too much of a gap for this particular riddle. Read it more carefully.

Ok...let me see if I can put this into idiot terms for you TL

You are right TL, on 12/30/00 she was 22.

To make this easy, assume she turned 23 on December 31, 2000 (12/31/00).

We talked to her on 01/01/01. This year she turns 24 on 12/31/01. NEXT year is 2002...and at the end of next year (12/31/02) she will be 25...

    Simple as that...
