regedit problem

Nothing happens when i try to run regedit...I'm using XP...Please help...thanks

try this from your command line

runas /user:administrator regedit.exe

you will need your local admin password to do this.

When running from a command line (Run) You usually have to use the full filename. I suspect you are working from an account that has Admin privileges and not from the master Admin account. There is a difference.....
