    Infected with BlackCore and fake.wget

    I'm not sure how I can remove these things. I did a quick google but came up with nothing terribly useful. There may be some other things on here too... I'm going to do a reformat sometime soon but I can't for a little while yet. Can someone help me with these things?

    Here's my log...

    Can you please follow all instructions given in this link;
    READ ME Before Posting A Request For Assistance!

    INCLUDING the download and use of HijackThis v1.99.1
    The version you have used the a newer version but is still a beta version, in testing, so we prefer for now that posters use the older version.

    Please follow all instructions in the link I gave you above, some of these steps will remove many forms of malware and will certain assist in getthing the computer clean.
    Post back here once you have completed all the steps given with all the logs from the various scans listed in the link.
    Then we can better see where things stand and if other steps are required.

    Oh right, sorry.

    Okay, done now, I think. I've been getting some really slow loading times on this machine, and Spybot S&D is the only thing that picks anything up. I tell it to remove them, but they just come back...

    Where is the AVG Anti-spy log that is requested in the link I gave you? This program will remove LOTS of items if you follow the directions and tell it to fix and remove. Please go back to that link, download the program, download the ATF-Cleaner and then boot to safe mode and run them both exactly as directed.
    We have no way of knowing what is being found by Spybot unless you tell us.

    I didn't see a way to get a log of Spybot. Still, I got Kaspersky online scanner working (it wouldn't before for some reason) and it says I am infected with "Trojan.Win32.Pakes". When I googled for it, there were like five different removal methods, all different. My own virus scanner (Trend PC-Cillin) isn't picking it up for some reason.

    Why can't you use Avg-anti spy? We want the LOG from Kaspersky. We really need to see these logs as we have no way of knowing the location of items found. AVG-Antispy WILL remove many trojans, what haven't you run it. Why can't you run it? We need to know.
