    One HOT Train

OK, so there's no picture of the train ... just the hot trail of fire it left in it's wake. It must have had a hung up break or something. The sparks from it left our Fire and Rescue folks busy today. That was actually the 4th brush fire of the day. Two of them were caused by idiots throwing cigarettes out the window Yes, it IS that dry here.

The train had already been by. It left a trail of sparks that set several small grass fires and the two larger brush fires.

We were actually heading into town when John got paged to join the fun on his day off. So I hung out at the staging area passing out bottled water to the guys while he manned one of the tankers. A few of the other wives do volunteer work like that also.

Yes, I carry my camera with me at all times
