Thumbs up This is really amazing...

As a former pencil artist, I find this a truly amazing performance:

The fellow in the video is an autistic artist who viewed the city of Rome for 45 minutes while flying over in a helicopter and then drew the city from what he recalled!

you guys and your NON standard CODEC video's... I'm gonna stop allowing these things to be posted if you can't view them without having to "UPDATE" or download a codec.. Too many of the codec servers are including spyware and backdoors to mess with the registry and rip off your playlists, total privacy violation.. Untill there's a panel of security experts disecting all the codecs available from one server to ensure that none of them include the things I saw in other codec's and we can trust them.. I highly recommend the old version of Winamp, otherwise, you might as well not have anything you want to keep private on your PC..

At home WMP opened it just fine without d/l any codecs (and it is not set to d/l automatically either) and at work Real Player One opened it without any hassles as well!!

So I am not sure what is going on with your codecs...

I don't already have the "anti-privacy" codecs they include in the newer versions of WMP. I also don't have the "automatically download codecs" feature enabled, but the windows media player application still attempts to GO online because the particular video asks it to!!! that is the flaw, not the codec, but the video.. Anyone that knows this can make video's to attempt to download codecs in order to then run other code and snag info out of your registry and file versions/os versions and try to dial home with the info on a NON secure path, like your MRU lists etc, Anyone sniffing the wire can grab this info and they can use the gathered info for worse things, even if you don't have an END point phone home target to blame as a culprit, someone will be waiting and sniffing for the info, the end user has no way of pinpointing the violators untill it is too late.. It's a snowball effect, they all share the info to develope better anti-privacy technology to use against the private citizens...

You remind me of the movie SIGNS where the scene those two paranoid kids were wearing tin foil hats to protect their heads/minds brain aliens!!

    lol

They were right, there were aliens indeed but tin foil didn't help jack!

I still have SP1 on my gaming rig and have not updated Windows for ages (half of the security patches borg my games, etc.) so I know my codecs or the version of WMP is ancient yet still not update prompt. Oh also, all download/connection settings are disabled in WMP as well so still not sure what the deal is. May be you give XP-AntiSpy a shot?
