Suposed to go below 4.00 around here, local shell station had premium at 4.43, then 4.33, local quickstop, regular 87 at 4.08, station a few miles the other way was at 3.99 for regular.. Maybe I'll hold off buying gas for the bike, I'm still going to try to convert my car to alternative fuels though, not just for "renewability, but for performance advantages as well, I can run my compression at 9.5, use ethenal and still bounce the vacuum/pressure guage needle off 1.2 bar over atmosphere.. Trouble with this is that I've heard storries of people breaking rods/pistons before the knock computer even detects a knock, just from the increased combustion pressure alone...

seems like they shifted the cost of gas over to the cost of a bag of rice n beans and a gallon of milk.

Its running $2.839 to $3.059 on the south side of houston.
Gavleston is running $2.809 to $3.399. so much for the supply and demand theory since much of galveston is running on generator power and the heavy equipment is burning diesel in a hurry.
    back from hiatus.
