Cute one thouThis is Mustang Sally ... Sally for short
She is 9 weeks old. Any tips on house breaking? I've heard that American Bulldogs are very easy to train. Hope that is true.

Some people use little bottles with plain old water to sprits their dog in the face when they try to do their business in the house. You just have to be around them when they are trying to do their business, sprits them when they look like they are going to find a place to go, then take them to a place outside let them do their business, then give them small scooby snacks when they are finished. If you are lucky, after a few sprits of water and trips outside with treats they will be waiting at the door or at your feet when they need to go out. Also, alot of sites recommend no physical contact for corrections, and no corrections after the fact. here's a good site that covers about everything you need to know about house breaking, sans water sprits... http://www.inch.com/~dogs/housebreaking.html
nice dog
Well I've been trying the "no scolding" approach as suggested for bulldogs. Surprisingly it seems to be working. Within two days of ignoring her when she doesn't use the paper she now uses only the paperNow I just have to slowly move the paper toward the door. Hopefully within two weeks this will be all over. Especially since the paper only comes out twice a week

I never used a paper when I trained my terrier.
Let them out when you get up or get home, and after they eat.
