    my old cb250 nighthawk was supposed to get like 75-80mpg. more like 45-50 cause you always want it to go faster=more throttle, even though you're going slower than a vw bug :P

    my 250stroker gets bad milage for a small bike.

    Well, if the person is big (200+ lbs.) any bike less than 600cc is ridiculous.
    My NightHawk is a 750 so it has plenty of power even for my fat(235lbs)ass!

    It seems to get better mileage and runs more powerful when it is not too hot and/or when the oil is not too old/dirty. I was told the bikes need an oil change same as a car but I think that is not the case with my bike. I will I need to change it like ever 2000-2500 miles at the most!
