Why stop at just a little acetone? Put 95% acetone and 5% gas. You will get nearly unlimited miles to the gallon, because you will end up pushing your car everywhere you want to go.

Don't buy into the hype, EVERYONE knows the vortec wind tunnel swirly thing is the only REAL way to increase you gas mileage.

You would probably get better fuel mileage results by simply inflating your tires to their proper pressure when they get low.

Totally!! That is what I told Cauz too!

One other factor is the load that the car carries...meaning the bigger your butt gets, the worse the fuel mileage!

lol....another reason to consider losing weight I suppose?

If you really want to get down to fuel milage.
remove any electronics that aren't needed for operation.
remove your AC compressor, power steering pump, spare tire, un-necessary fluids, any un-used equipment in the vehicle (ABS, traction control, back seats, etc). finally, keep a minimum amount of fuel to get you where your going.
Basically, the lighter you can get the vehicle, the better.
The less electronics, the less the alternator has to work and that is the less the engine has to work to generate electricity.

Me personally, Im gonna smile at my 20 mpg and drive my truck like I have a place to go.

My trike gets 50 mpg and my bug gets 30 mpg so I'm happy with that However I do prefer a little acetone in my fingernail polish remover ... works much better than the non-acetone one

My bike is weird, gallons per hour or something... The faster it goes the better the milage is.

My NightHawk is the same way, the 'stop 'n go' style riding is no good! It goes down to an average of 35mpg but on a steady, non-stop riding, at least 45mpg!

Dude, if it fluctuates between 45 and 85, I don't think you can still refer to it as 'constant'! ...lol..

Its within a 5% in that range.

driving backroads, taking my time 45 mph range, I get maybe 20.
driving highway, speed limit, I get a solid 19.
coming home from houston, late in the day I have gotten any where from 19 up. I have gotten as high as 21 mpg, but that was a one time trip.
